The Role

As a Medical Scribe, you'll be the physician's right hand-responsible for accurately documenting patient encounters, medical histories, orders, and test results. Your attention to detail ensures our patients receive seamless, high-quality care.

Responsibilities
  • Transcribe patient medical reports and data accurately and thoroughly

  • Document medical history, physician orders, and lab/test results

  • Accompany physicians during patient visits to capture real-time information

  • Maintain Hospitality Health ER's guiding principles of care

  • Assist physicians by carrying out orders efficiently and accurately

  • Demonstrate initiative and self-direction in supporting providers

  • Communicate professionally with patients, families, and team members

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Medical Director

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Education: 2 years of college in a healthcare-related field (preferred)

  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of medical terminology

  • Training: Successful completion of clinical orientation and proven skills

  • Growth: Commitment to ongoing education and training

  • Experience: Customer service experience in high-volume, high-stress environments

  • Schedule: PRN (as needed) - minimum of two (2) 12-hour shifts per month, including rotating nights and weekends (Saturday & Sunday)

  • Skills: Ability to work unsupervised, take initiative, and collaborate effectively
