About Eyeworld Vision Center: Eyeworld Vision Center is a locally owned, family-oriented optical practice that has been serving the Saraland community since 1985. We pride ourselves on a "team-first" culture where every member is treated like family.

The Role: We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Ophthalmic Technician/Scribe to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be a true team player with a passion for patient care and a high level of attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preliminary patient work-ups.

  • Obtain and document accurate medical histories and chief complaints.

  • Measure visual acuities (distance and near).

  • Utilize diagnostic equipment, including auto refractors and tonometers.

  • Assist doctors with scribe duties and patient flow.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in eye care is required.

  • Strong communication skills and a positive, professional attitude.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.

Preferred Skills (Plus):

  • Experience with Visual Fields and OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography).

  • Familiarity with EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems.
