Job description

Overview
We are seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to support campaign development, automation, and messaging solutions across email and SMS channels. This role involves working within a structured environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable communication workflows.
Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and support Salesforce Marketing Cloud modules including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Content Builder, and MobileConnect
  • Assist with SMS setup, including keyword configuration, opt-in/opt-out processes, and compliance requirements
  • Develop and manage automated journeys, triggered communications, and scheduled campaigns
  • Build and maintain data extensions, audience segmentation, and SQL queries
  • Implement dynamic and personalized content using AMPscript
  • Support integrations between Marketing Cloud and other enterprise systems
  • Troubleshoot issues related to campaigns, data, and automation processes
  • Follow established governance, security, and compliance standards
  • Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Experience with AMPscript and SQL within Marketing Cloud
  • Familiarity with SMS messaging and consent management practices
  • Understanding of data privacy, security, and compliance standards
  • Ability to work effectively in a structured team environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Salesforce, with a focus on Marketing Cloud
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer or Consultant certification
  • Experience with MobileConnect and SMS configuration processes
  • Experience working with public sector or regulated environments
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards such as WCAG or Section 508
  • Experience integrating Marketing Cloud with Salesforce CRM
Additional Information
  • Experience supporting government or healthcare organizations is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills are preferred
