Drivers often work as independent contractors, using their own trucks to tow RVs for dealerships or manufacturers. This role is ideal for individuals looking for flexible, part-time work with opportunities to travel.

What are the typical responsibilities and daily tasks for a weekend RV transport driver?

As a Weekend RV Transport Driver, your main responsibility is to safely deliver recreational vehicles (RVs) to dealerships, customers, or designated drop-off locations over the weekend. You’ll perform pre-trip inspections, secure the RVs for transport, plan and follow delivery routes, and complete required documentation such as mileage logs and delivery forms. Communication with dispatchers and clients is often part of the job, especially to coordinate delivery times or address any issues that arise during transport. This position is well-suited for individuals who enjoy independent work, traveling short or long distances, and maintaining high safety standards.
