Job description

We are seeking a CNA who will also serve as a Transport Driver to join our team with Marian E. Burch Adult Day Care, a department of Calhoun County Medical Care Facility! You will work alongside fellow co-workers to provide care and ensure safe transport of our clients to and from their home and our Center.
Qualifications:

  • Current MI CNA Certification or have completed the CNA class within the last 2 years.
  • Chauffer's License REQUIRED at a minimum.
  • Familiarity with driving transport vehicle a PLUS, but not mandatory
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and family
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
  • Provide companionship and CNA duties to clients under the direction of nursing staff while attending the center.
  • Observe and report changes in clients' condition
  • Maintain a clean, healthy and positive environment
  • Transport clients by taking them to and from the center.

This FT position will be M-F with weekends and major Holidays off. The hours will vary based on need between 7:30 am and 5:00 pm
