Registered Nurse Practitioner (APRN) โ€“ Rural Health Clinic


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our Rural Health Clinic, providing high-quality healthcare services to an underserved community. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled healthcare professional committed to making a meaningful difference in a rural population through comprehensive patient care, health education, and community engagement.


Key Responsibilities:

- Provide primary and preventive healthcare services to patients of all ages in a rural setting

- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing

- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and their families

- Prescribe medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with state and federal regulations

- Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions

- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care

- Document patient encounters accurately and maintain comprehensive medical records

- Participate in community outreach and health education initiatives to improve overall community health outcomes


Skills and Qualifications:

- Current and valid APRN license in the state of Florida

- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP)

- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or relevant specialty certification

- Proven experience in primary care, preferably in rural or underserved settings

- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Requirements:
  • Must have a valid Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) Florida license,
  • Must have Florida Medicare and Florida Medicaid numbers (or the ability to obtain).
  • Must have the ability to see ALL ages of patients (FAMILY PRACTICE)

Must have the following:

  • Ability to work within a team and take direction.
  • Must be familiar, or the ability to learn, the EHR medical charting system.
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.


Position is part-time or PRN with flexible scheduling during clinic hours (M-F, 8am-5pm).
