Job description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assists with production line in manufacturing facility.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work area.
  • Feeds production line with ingredients and materials.
  • Measures and controls ingredient percentages.
  • Ensures conformance to specifications.
  • Mixes ingredients.
  • Notifies supervisor of any mechanical or ingredient issues.
  • Follows instructions from supervisors.
  • Follows and sustains 5S program
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Prior manufacturing experience preferred
  • Able to work within timelines and in pressure situations
  • Available to work flexible hours including nights and weekends when needed
  • Able to stand for sustained periods of time, approximately 10-12 hours a day
  • Able to work in refrigerated environment
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and climb to perform job functions as needed
