Summary:


The General Labor position is responsible for a variety of tasks including stacking and inspection of cases to ensure the product is free of deformities and stacked per product specifications. Duties are to be carried out while following established Standard Operating Procedures in a manner that is compliant with our safety policies.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Duties are to be carried out while following established Standard Operating Procedures in a manner that is compliant with our safety policies. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

  • Remove plastic from the cases safely.
  • Inspect product depending on customer requirements. (Date code, bad seals, can damage etc.)
  • Send cases to re wrap by using the proper film and follow customer requirements.
  • Inspect cases while being stacked for proper packing, damaged products, or other deformities.
  • Stack cases in a pattern assigned by customer requirements.
  • Keep area from debris and hazardous.
  • Place a holding layer of shrink wrap on pallets to ensure stability.
  • Qualify and certify on a pallet jack.
  • Proactively inform Supervisors and Line Operators of problems.

Pay Range: $15.00-17.00 - Hourly (based on experience); For the PM shift there is a $1.00 Shift Differential for this position.
