Family Nurse Practitioner / FNP | Kirkland, Washington

We prioritize patient recovery, offering a supportive environment and a comprehensive plan for long-term sobriety and improved mental health.

Details

  • Manageable and Sustainable Caseload: Average of 15 patients per day [All ages from 13+].
  • Flexible Schedule: Generally, Monday-Friday, day shifts.
  • Work-Life Balance: Once monthly weekend rounding and once per week evening call coverage by phone only.

Primary Duties

  • Conduct medical assessments, initial H&Ps within 24 hours of admission, follow-ups, and patient discharges for adolescents and adults.
  • Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and other support staff to develop and implement integrated treatment plans that address both mental health and medical issues.
  • Co-manage patients with complex medical comorbidities during their length of stay, alongside Psychiatrists, other mental health providers, and support staff.
  • Provide medical education to patients and their families regarding their medical conditions, medications, and lifestyle modifications that may impact overall health.
  • Provide medical consults as needed in the General Adult units, Mission Resiliency Program (military, veterans, etc.), and Detox/SUD units.

Please note: This position requires 3+ years of previous work experience as an NP or PA (clinical rotations and preceptor hours are not included).

  • Salary range: $140,000-$184,000

Required Education, Experience, Licensure, & Certifications

  • Education: NP degree from an accredited and recognized program required.
  • Licensure: Current Washington APRN license in good standing.
  • Credentialing: Meet all credentialing criteria required by participating providers.
  • Required Experience: 3+ years of prior work experience in a clinical FNP role required (clinical rotations and preceptor hours not included).
