RN Supervisor (Every other weekend) Job Summary

Bloomingdale Health Center, a five-star quality skilled nursing facility, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our team. As a RN Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising nurses and aides, implementing recommended changes, and ensuring optimal resident care. We are committed to providing a patient-focused environment, cutting-edge technology, and proven best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise nurses and aides in our Long Term Care facility, promoting a culture of excellence and quality care
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing to implement recommended changes and ensure seamless facility operations
  • Conduct resident assessments, monitor care, and report changes to the Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident care, including MARs, nurse notes, accident/incident reports, physician's orders, and treatment records
  • Liaise between nursing staff and attending physicians, assessing the necessity of calls to physicians during off-business hours
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment, ensuring all supplies are in proper place and equipment is functioning properly
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in Long Term Care
  • NJ Registered Nurse License
  • 1 year of experience in Nursing
  • 1 year of experience as a RN Supervisor
  • RN - Registered Nurse certification
