Are you an RN with a heart for crisis care looking for weekend work? At Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH), our mission is rooted in empowering individuals and strengthening communities. We are seeking a compassionate and motivated part-time Registered Nurse to join our Virginia REACH team in supporting adults with I/DD and mental health needs at our warm, home-like Crisis Therapeutic Home (CTH) in Staunton, VA.
*Please note REACH Region I is now under new management with ESPH! We welcome both new applicants and those who previously applied!*
Schedule:
Saturday and Sunday 7am-7pm
Your Role in Our Mission
  • Make a real difference by providing compassionate nursing care to adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs in our Crisis Therapeutic Home
  • Administer medications, perform nursing assessments, and ensure each individual receives the highest standard of care
  • Educate and empower individuals regarding their physical and mental health
  • Collaborate with a dedicated interdisciplinary team to create personalized care and treatment plans
  • Ensure safety and compliance by maintaining accurate documentation and following all clinical standards
  • Play an essential role in promoting stability, recovery, and hope for those we serve
  • Provide guidance to Behavior Techs and LPNs as needed

What We're Looking For
  • Licensure: Current valid, unrestricted licensed as a Registered Nurse in state of Virginia
  • Knowledge: MH and I/DD systems of care preferred

  • Transportation: A valid driver's license and car insurance for occasional transportation to appointments
