Nightingale Nursing & Rehab Center – Erie, PA
Weekend Position - Can be full or part-time. Additional hours can be picked up during the week.

Main days for the position are Saturday and Sunday

Nightingale Nursing & Rehab Center is seeking a confident, compassionate Registered Nurse Weekend Supervisor to oversee clinical operations during weekend shifts. This role is ideal for an experienced RN who thrives in a leadership position, ensures high-quality resident care, and supports staff throughout the building.
Position Summary
The RN Weekend Supervisor provides on-site leadership for all nursing staff during weekend hours. This role ensures resident care standards are met, assists with clinical decision-making, supports CNAs and LPNs, and serves as the primary point of contact for families, staff, and on-call leadership.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee weekend nursing operations for a 139bed skilled nursing facility.
• Provide clinical guidance, support, and direction to LPNs and CNAs.
• Conduct rounds to ensure resident safety, quality of care, and regulatory compliance.
• Respond to changes in resident condition and coordinate appropriate interventions.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed.
• Communicate effectively with families, physicians, and oncall leadership.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies.
• Support staffing needs, including assisting with assignments and break coverage.
• Promote a positive, teamfocused environment and uphold facility standards.
• Serve as the acting clinical leader on-site during weekend shifts.

Qualifications
• Active RN license in the state of Pennsylvania (required).
• Prior experience in skilled nursing, longterm care, or subacute rehab strongly preferred.
