  • RNs needed for a Psychiatric Facility in Austin, TX
  • Contract Position (Nov - April and Extendable)
  • Patients are Kids and Adults
  • Open Shifts:
    • Weekday Shifts: 6:45am-3:15pm (7a to 3p) or 2:45pm-11:15pm (3p to 11p) and every other weekend off (Non-Negotiable)
    • Weekend shifts (Sat and Sun only): 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, or 7am-11pm
  • Training: Must be available for 12 consecutive days M-F 8AM-5PM
  • Competitive Salary

Responsibilities
  • Provide care for patients
  • Manage psychiatric / medical emergency, complete nursing assessment's for new admissions
  • Perform computer data entry
  • Receive full training
  • Comply with facility Standard Operating Procedures to meet standards for accrediting agencies; specifically, Joint Commission guidelines, CMS Standards, ASH Policy and Directives and HHSC Standards, Rules and Directives.

Requirements
  • Active Texas RN License or Compact License
  • Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification
  • Prior Nursing experience
  • Experience in Psychiatric nursing a plus
  • Computer proficient
  • Must be able to pass Criminal Background Check and Drug Screening
