Summary:The LPN/RN HouseSupervisor performs the normal duties of an LPN/RN with an additional focus onmonitoring A ccu-checks, vitals, lab tracking, and weights. This role is also responsible for assisting, educating,and supervising CNAs and nurses, supporting the admission and discharge processes,uploading files, and scheduling resident appointments. The LPN/RN House Supervisor assists with completingassessments, and maintaining open lines of communication with internal staff,doctors, nurse practitioners and medical directors, as well as residents' families.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Makewritten and oral reports/recommendations to the Director as necessary/required,concerning the operation of the nursing service department.
  • Admit,transfer, and discharge residents as required.
  • Completeaccident/incident reports as necessary.
  • Performadministrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations,studies, charting, etc., as necessary.
  • Makedaily rounds of the nursing service department to ensure that all nursingservice personnel are performing their work assignments in accordance withacceptable nursing standards. Report findings to the Director. Make rounds withphysicians as necessary.
  • Ensurethat all RNs and LPNs on your shift comply with written procedures for theadministration, storage, and control of medications and supplies. Monitormedication passes and treatment schedules to ensure that medications are beingadministered as ordered and that treatments are provided as scheduled.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Valid registration as an LPN/RN in the state of Practice
  • Completion of relevant state Board of Nursing approved.
