RN Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our evening shift team at Hathorne Hill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Danvers, Massachusetts. As a RN Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing operations, providing optimal quality of care, and adhering to our facility's policies and procedures. Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate activities of nursing personnel on assigned shift to maintain continuity of nursing care
• Interpret and enforce nursing policies and procedures with staff, families, and visitors
• Make rounds on nursing units to ensure maximum care and communicate with families
• Respond to emergencies and provide medical oversight
• Verify physicians' orders and ensure accurate documentation
• Secure pre-admission reports and ensure a safe environment for residents and staff
• Conduct chart audits and monitor IV program
• Assist in recruitment, selection, and orientation of nursing staff
• Participate in meetings and assume other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Massachusetts
• Minimum of one year of education or experience in geriatric nursing or rehabilitation preferred
• CPR certified
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English and follow oral and written instructions
• Fluent knowledge of MS Office suite and other office equipment
• Ability to work hours as scheduled based on the requirements of the position assignment
• Must be able to move intermittently throughout the day and perform physically demanding work involving frequent bending, stooping, turning, stretching, and reaching above the shoulders

Working Conditions:

• Works in an appropriately lighted and ventilated environment
• Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics/equipment that will enable these senses to function adequately
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
