Retreat Attendants must be dependable, detail-oriented, and proactive. The expectation is to remain productive throughout the entire shift and address cleanliness, stocking, or operational needs without waiting to be directed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure the Retreat is clean, stocked, and fully prepared before guests arrive.
  • Clean, disinfect, reset, and restock treatment rooms according to sanitation standards.
  • Assist therapists with timely room turnovers when needed.
  • Maintain treatment rooms, restrooms, hallways, the lobby, breakroom, laundry room, and other shared spaces.
  • Wash, dry, fold, organize, transport, and properly store linens.
  • Maintain enough clean linens and treatment-room supplies to support daily appointments.
  • Prepare and maintain hot towels, stones, warmers, guest amenities, and other designated equipment.
  • Check restrooms, trash receptacles, floors, and guest-facing areas regularly throughout the shift.
  • Vacuum, sweep, mop, remove trash, and complete assigned deep-cleaning duties.
  • Monitor inventory and immediately report low supplies, damage, maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or sanitation issues.
  • Keep laundry, storage, and back-of-house areas clean and organized.
  • Complete all assigned opening, closing, daily, weekly, and monthly checklists.
  • Participate in required walkthroughs and obtain leadership verification when needed.
  • Leave the Retreat fully cleaned, stocked, organized, and prepared for the next business day.
  • Complete additional duties assigned by the Retreat Director, Lead Therapists, or designated Shift Lead.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
  • Arrive on time, in full uniform, and prepared to begin working at the scheduled start time.
  • Follow all attendance, timekeeping, uniform, safety, sanitation, and security policies.
  • Remain active and productive throughout the entire shift.
  • Use downtime to clean, organize, restock, inspect the Retreat, or complete checklist responsibilities.
  • Complete duties thoroughly and accurately before marking them complete.
  • Communicate professionally with guests, therapists, Guest Experience Managers, and leadership.
  • Respond respectfully to instructions, coaching, and changing operational priorities.
  • Immediately communicate any concern or responsibility that cannot be completed.
  • Do not perform massage, skin care, or any other service requiring professional licensure.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous housekeeping, hospitality, spa, salon, healthcare, or customer-service experience is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to recognize cleaning, stocking, and maintenance needs.
  • Dependable, punctual, organized, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in an active environment.
  • Professional communication skills and a guest-focused attitude.
  • Willingness to follow established procedures and accept coaching.
PHYSICAL AND SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS
This position requires standing and walking for most of the shift, along with bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling supplies, linens, laundry, and equipment.
Schedules are based on the operational needs of the Retreat and may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Continued scheduling is based on attendance, performance, availability, and the consistent completion of assigned responsibilities.
