Johnsonville Location: Marketplace

As a member of the Johnsonville Marketplace team, you'll provide great service to our members and customers. The Marketplace is the only retail location of its kind, offering a variety of Johnsonville products, apparel, cookbooks and unique items that shoppers can't find anywhere else. You'll have an opportunity to provide a memorable visitor experience to all who visit the store.

Position Overview

Johnsonville has been using the Stayer-family recipe to produce only the highest-quality sausage since 1945.  While the company has grown from a small butcher shop in the tiny town of Johnsonville, Wis., to an international sausage leader, its commitment to delicious, quality products remain unchanged.  Sharing our "big taste from a small town" is the goal of the Johnsonville Sausage Marketplace.

The Marketplace opened in the Fall of 2020, our location offers many Johnsonville products, apparel, and unique items that can only be found at the Johnsonville Marketplace and on our website. The Marketplace serves a wide variety of customers as well as our valued Johnsonville members. We are actively looking for an enthusiastic part-time store Associate with a track record of exceptional customer service. 

As a Marketplace store associate you'll work for a company dedicated to providing shoppers with a memorable experience and top-quality products.  You'll be a valued member of the team, and you'll have the chance to truly impact our future success.

Responsibilities
  • Be a key point of contact for our customers and Johnsonville members making sure everyone has an exceptional shopping experience
  • Assist customers with questions and inquiries about our products
  • Operate the POS system/IPAD; process transactions quickly and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment - front and back of store
  • Comply with company policies and procedures
  • Stock merchandise and set-up merchandising displays following specific guidelines
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Previous retail experience preferred
Skills
  • Energy, enthusiasm and strong customer service skills
  • Basic math skills and ability to read
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Teamwork skills
Other Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • This job requires standing, walking, bending, and twisting throughout the entire workday.
  • The ability to lift, stack and move inventory required.
    • Must be able to lift a maximum of 50lbs.
  • Weekend and holiday work will be required with a maximum of 14 hours/week.
