Job description

Description:

Here we grow again!

We’re looking for an experienced Floating Assistant General Manager to provide leadership and operational support primarily at our Parkland and Tacoma restaurants, with occasional coverage in Covington based on business needs.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is adaptable, confident stepping into different restaurant environments, and ready to lead wherever support is needed. You’re someone who can quickly assess a shift, build trust with an established team, and help keep operations running smoothly without missing a beat.

You understand that strong restaurant leadership requires more than managing a shift. It means developing team members, maintaining high standards, creating an excellent guest experience, and holding yourself and others accountable. You can balance people, operations, and business needs while remaining calm and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment.

If you enjoy variety, are comfortable supporting multiple locations, and want to grow with an expanding restaurant group, we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide management coverage and operational support primarily at the Parkland and Tacoma locations.
  • Provide occasional coverage at the Covington location and other nearby restaurants when business needs require.
  • Lead daily restaurant operations and help ensure each shift runs safely, efficiently, and successfully.
  • Support General Managers with staffing, scheduling, training, coaching, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Lead by example and create a positive, respectful, and accountable workplace.
  • Deliver an excellent guest experience and promptly address guest concerns.
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, ticket times, cleanliness, and service standards.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, food-safety requirements, alcohol-service requirements, and applicable employment laws.
  • Support opening and closing procedures, cash handling, deposits, inventory, and other operational controls.
  • Monitor labor, food costs, waste, and other key operating metrics.
  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training new team members.
  • Coach team members in real time and document performance or conduct concerns appropriately.
  • Help ensure required employee certifications and restaurant records remain current.
  • Communicate operational concerns, staffing needs, and follow-up items to the appropriate General Manager and leadership team.
  • Adapt quickly to the needs, team dynamics, and operating conditions of each assigned restaurant.
  • Support company initiatives, new processes, training programs, and special projects.
  • Perform other related duties and support additional locations as assigned.

What’s In It for You

Compensation: $29.00–$31.00 per hour, depending on experience.

  • Medical insurance: 80% employer paid beginning the first day of the month following your start date, with qualifying hours.
  • DailyPay access, allowing eligible employees to access earned wages before payday.
  • Two weeks of paid vacation available after 90 days of employment.
  • 401(k) with company match after one year of service.
  • Voluntary dental and vision coverage.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
  • Paid sick leave in accordance with applicable state and local laws.
  • Employee meal discounts.
  • Leadership development and advancement opportunities.
  • The opportunity to grow toward becoming a General Manager or Managing Partner.
  • A supportive, team-oriented culture within a growing restaurant group.
