Job Summary:

The Senior ERP Cloud Engineer is responsible for supporting and leading the implementation, enhancement, and ongoing operation of ERP cloud applications. This role partners with business and IT stakeholders to gather and document requirements, translate business needs into system solutions, and ensure ERP applications support defined business objectives. The position operates as a hands-on technical and functional contributor within the IT organization, supporting both new ERP initiatives and enhancements to existing ERP platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and contribute to new ERP cloud implementations, including planning, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Design, configure, test, and deploy Oracle ERP Cloud (Oracle Fusion) modules supporting supply chain and related business functions.
  • Participate in and support requests for proposal (RFPs) for new ERP modules or related technologies.
  • Support enhancements and process changes for existing ERP cloud applications.
  • Conduct requirements-gathering activities with business stakeholders and translate requirements into functional and technical specifications.
  • Document business processes, system configurations, integration points, data mappings, testing results, and issue resolution.
  • Support data conversions, system testing, defect tracking, and post-implementation stabilization.
  • Research solution alternatives and support cost/benefit analysis for ERP initiatives.
  • Provide second-level ERP application support and assist with end-user training and knowledge transfer.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project timelines, accountability, and communication.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience configuring, implementing, and supporting enterprise ERP systems.
  • Experience implementing and supporting Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud or comparable cloud-based ERP platforms.
  • Hands-on experience designing, developing, configuring, and supporting system integrations (e.g., Oracle Integration Cloud or equivalent).
  • Experience developing or supporting ERP reporting using tools such as OTBI, BI Publisher, or SQL-based reporting.
  • Experience participating in or leading ERP-related projects across multiple functional areas.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience supporting supply chain-related functions, including procurement, order management, warehouse management, or transportation management.
  • Prior experience leading large-scale or multi-module ERP cloud implementations.
  • Experience in retail, manufacturing, food production, or distribution environments.
  • Experience supporting analytics and reporting solutions for operational or supply chain decision-making.
  • Familiarity with enterprise data conversion and integration strategies across multiple systems.

Working Conditions:

Work is performed primarily in an office or remote environment. The role may include on-call responsibilities and occasional work during evenings, weekends, or holidays. Limited travel to operational sites or industry events may be required in accordance with company travel policies.

Competencies:

  • Work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to support shared project goals.
  • Operate in a project-based and operational support environment with competing priorities.
  • Apply structured development and delivery methodologies such as Agile or SDLC frameworks.
  • Exercise judgment when analyzing system issues, process gaps, and solution options.
  • Communicate system changes, enhancements, and impacts to affected stakeholders.
  • Support an environment that may require on-call availability and occasional off-hours work.
