You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and healthcare professionals, ensuring a collaborative atmosphere focused on patient care and satisfaction.

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to determine students' emotional and social needs, ensuring comprehensive care planning.
• Provide evidence-based individual and group counseling to students, addressing challenges related to adjustment, grief, and coping strategies in light of academic and personal challenges.
• Collaborate effectively with educational staff and community organizations, ensuring that students receive appropriate post-discharge services and ongoing support.
• Participate in school and hospital committees, contributing your expertise in social work to promote effective policies and programs.
• Document all interactions and interventions in accordance with hospital policies, ensuring adherence to legal and ethical standards.
• Offer crisis intervention services when necessary and provide emotional support to both students and their families during critical times.

Your primary focus will be on students within the school environment, working with individuals facing a variety of issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment concerns. By collaborating with educators and healthcare professionals, you will ensure a comprehensive approach that prioritizes the mental well-being and academic success of each student.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited university is required.
• Current and active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Tennessee is essential.

• At least two years of experience working in a healthcare or hospital setting, particularly within a school environment.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, mental health disorders, and effective crisis intervention techniques.
• Demonstrated proficiency in communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills essential for working with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
