Work Environment

This position is predominantly remote, allowing for flexibility and a work-life balance that contributes to overall job satisfaction. As part of our outpatient services, you will conduct therapy sessions virtually, utilizing our secure telehealth platform. While the primary work hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some evening and weekend hours may be required on a rotational basis to accommodate client needs. Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Mental Health Therapist specializing in mood disorders, your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, including their severity, frequency, and impact on daily functioning.
  • Collaborating with clients to design personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, preferences, and treatment goals.
  • Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to manage and alleviate mood disorder symptoms.
  • Providing education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, while promoting self-care strategies that foster resilience and recovery.
  • Regularly monitoring client progress and making data-driven adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Working closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams for integrated patient care that addresses both psychological and medical needs.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential records of client assessments, treatment plans, and therapeutic progress, adhering to ethical and legal standards.
  • Participating in case consultations, and professional development opportunities to enhance therapeutic techniques and best practices in mood disorder treatment.
  • Championing advocacy efforts in mental health, working to destigmatize mood disorders within the community.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be clients enduring a variety of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. You will be instrumental in creating a therapeutic space that nurtures trust and open communication, allowing clients to explore their thoughts and feelings as they work towards recovery. Qualifications

To join our team as a Clinical Mental Health Therapist, you must possess:

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid state license as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT.
