• Perform detailed intake assessments and screenings that evaluate clients’ histories with substance abuse and associated mental health challenges.
• Develop tailored treatment plans that comprehensively address both addiction and underlying mental health concerns, employing strategies that align with evidence-based practices.
• Lead individual and group therapy sessions using therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to facilitate meaningful client engagement and progress toward recovery.
• Collaborate closely with a network of treatment professionals, including case managers and medical staff, to ensure holistic care and integrated treatment plans for clients.
• Provide consistent support and educational resources to clients’ families, enabling them to play active roles in the recovery processes and fostering a supportive home environment.
• Keep accurate, confidential, and compliant documentation of client interactions and treatment outcomes in alignment with ethical and regulatory standards.

This role focuses on serving individuals from diverse backgrounds facing substance use disorders, often accompanied by co-occurring mental health issues. Clients may range from those in early recovery phases to individuals seeking ongoing support for sustained sobriety. As a therapist, you will apply your expertise to help clients navigate the complexities of addiction while promoting mental wellness.

• Must possess a valid and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field; a master’s or doctoral degree in the aforementioned areas is strongly preferred.
• Specialized training or prior experience in substance abuse counseling and treatment preferred.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices for treating substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders.
• Strong clinical skills that emphasize rapport-building, empathy, and client motivation throughout the recovery process.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, critical for effective collaboration and documentation.

• At least two years of professional counseling experience in a mental health or substance abuse setting.
• Proficiency with telehealth platforms and technology, enhancing the quality of remote therapeutic interactions.
• Experience conducting group therapy sessions aimed at strengthening community support among clients.
