Ochsner Health is seeking a Trauma Critical Care/Acute Care Surgeon in Lafayette, LA (BC/BE in Surgical Critical Care and General Surgery). Ochsner Health is an integrated healthcare system with more than 36,000 employees and over 4,600 employed and affiliated physicians in over 90 medical specialties and subspecialties. It operates 47 hospitals and more than 370 health and urgent care centers across Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and the Southeastern United States.

Position Highlights:

• TICU coverage-7days 24 hours
• Rotation for Trauma/ACS-average 3.5 nights primary call 3/5 nights back up call
• Critical Care coverage of surgery and trauma patients is separate from acute care surgery/trauma coverage and will be 1 out of 3 weeks
• Level 2 Trauma Center
