• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
• Maintain meticulous clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring client confidentiality and care continuity.
• Participate in collaborative care meetings with the multidisciplinary team to discuss patient progress and adapt treatment approaches as needed.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, training, and research to stay updated on the latest best practices in mental health.

Our ideal candidate will work with a diverse client population, including individuals and families facing a wide spectrum of mental health challenges. You will employ trauma-informed practices to support clients dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and relationship difficulties. • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field, demonstrating a solid educational foundation.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas, showcasing your qualification for practice.
• A minimum of 2 years of counseling experience, with a preference for those who have worked in clinical settings.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards relevant to mental health practice.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to establish rapport and communicate effectively with a diverse range of clients.

• Experience or specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse treatment, or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and other related technologies to document client services and outcomes successfully.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team, fostering positive client outcomes through teamwork.
