Our outpatient mental health clinic features state-of-the-art technology, ensuring that you have the resources needed to provide effective care. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprised of experienced mental health professionals, creating a comprehensive support network for all our clients.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting in-depth clinical assessments to understand the mental health needs of students.
• Designing and implementing personalized treatment plans using evidence-based therapies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in adherence to HIPAA regulations, ensuring patients’ confidentiality and safety.
• Collaborating closely with educational staff and other mental health professionals to coordinate effective treatment strategies for students.
• Engaging in regular case consultations and peer review sessions to continuously improve the quality of care.
• Providing educational resources and support to students and their families about mental health challenges and available treatment options.
• Monitoring and evaluating treatment progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to maximize patient outcomes.
• Upholding professional standards set by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and other relevant organizations.

Your primary focus will be on students from diverse backgrounds facing a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and academic stress. You will work closely with families to create a supportive environment that promotes emotional well-being and academic success.

To thrive in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of 3 years of direct clinical experience in a psychotherapeutic role.
• Proficiency in solution-focused intervention techniques, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a collaborative work ethic that enhances team dynamics.

Experience working in educational settings or with school-aged children is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with current trends and research in child and adolescent mental health will be advantageous.
