Position Overview

North Suburban Youth Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. This position focuses on providing critical support in a detox center setting, catering to adolescents and young adults grappling with substance use issues, alongside various mental health challenges. Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' presenting issues, personal histories, and treatment objectives, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their unique situations.
  • Deliver high-quality individual, couples, and family therapy, applying evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and narrative therapy strategies to create effective treatment pathways.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address the specific needs of clients, regularly reviewing and adjusting these plans as necessary to ensure effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with clients to set achievable goals and track progress throughout the therapeutic process, facilitating open communication to enhance the relationship.
  • Uphold confidentiality and adhere strictly to ethical guidelines and legal regulations in all interactions with clients.
  • Engage in continuous professional development, attending workshops, training sessions, and conferences to stay abreast of best practices in the field.
  • Foster a therapeutic relationship that promotes trust, collaboration, and healing, empowering clients to make meaningful changes in their lives.
  • Provide practical support and strategic guidance to assist clients in overcoming life’s challenges, emphasizing a solution-focused approach.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
