We have built a reputation for our compassionate care and commitment to improving mental health access within school environments.

Work Environment

This position allows for remote work, where you will provide services directly to students from the comfort of their homes or through a school platform. The role requires flexibility in scheduling, as sessions may take place during school hours, with some evenings and weekends. Working as part of a supportive team, you will integrate technology to connect with students securely and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic models, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), adapting your approach to meet individual student needs.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, educational staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and synchronized treatment plan for each student.
  • Educate students and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, and medication management, fostering an understanding of the mental health process.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions using engaging and effective methodologies tailored for school-age clients.
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans that reflect the students' goals and preferences, ensuring transparency and active participation in their care journey.
  • Advocate for patients' rights and help them navigate the often-complex mental health system, ensuring they access needed resources and services.
  • Organize and lead therapeutic groups and psychoeducation sessions aimed at empowering students with coping strategies and skills for emotional regulation.
  • Participate in discharge planning and follow-up care to ensure a seamless transition for patients reintegrating into the school environment or community.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on school-aged children and adolescents, addressing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, and trauma-related challenges. You will play a critical role in offering support and resources to empower students, their families, and the educational community at large.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
  • Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Strong foundation in mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and strategies for crisis intervention.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect effectively with students, families, and professional teams.
  • A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in your approach to care.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a school setting or with a pediatric population is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote therapeutic interventions.
  • Experience in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, showcasing a team-oriented mindset.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus performance-based bonuses. We value our employees and offer a robust benefits package that includes:

  • Comprehensive health insurance options including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Retirement plans with employer matching to support your long-term financial security.
  • Generous paid time off, holidays, and flexible scheduling to promote a balanced work-life integration.
  • Continuous professional development, including training opportunities and access to resources for skill enhancement.
  • Supportive insurance options tailored to your individual needs.
