In this remote role, you will work from the comfort of your home while connecting with clients through our secure telehealth platform. This position allows for flexible scheduling to accommodate both client needs and your availability. Your primary working hours will typically be Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend shifts as necessary to assist clients in crisis or those requiring immediate support.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the unique needs of each client, ensuring accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving clients' emotional well-being, social skills, and coping mechanisms.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to specific disorders, including ASD, ADHD, and emotional regulation challenges.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging personal growth and healthy expression of emotions.
• Provide crisis intervention support, offering immediate assistance during mental health emergencies, and working with clients to stabilize their situations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and therapists, to create a comprehensive care approach that enhances client outcomes.
• Participate in team meetings, contributing to case discussions and sharing insights to enhance service delivery.
• Document all client interactions accurately in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Your work will primarily focus on students and individuals facing unique challenges associated with autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, ADHD, trauma, and various emotional and behavioral issues. By employing trauma-informed care principles, you will help clients navigate their struggles and achieve personal milestones, empowering them within their educational and social environments.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Valid LCSW licensure in the state of Connecticut.
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and trauma-informed practices.
• Proficiency in mental health assessment tools and the formulation of comprehensive treatment plans.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective rapport with clients and colleagues.
• Experienced in delivering therapeutic interventions and facilitating group therapies.
• Strong crisis management capabilities and a calm demeanor in stressful situations.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a similar mental health setting.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth service delivery.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in educational or therapeutic environments.
