In this remote role, you will be working from the comfort of your home office, but while remote, you will remain closely connected with a supportive team. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Gotham Enterprises Ltd., you will have a vital role in helping individuals combat addiction and foster healthier lifestyles. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance abuse history and related mental health concerns.
• Collaborating with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that address both addiction and any co-occurring disorders.
• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Engaging in regular case consultations with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated and holistic care for each client.
• Educating clients and their families about the recovery process, available resources, and strategies to support lasting change.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential records of client treatment in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Your primary focus will be working with adults suffering from substance abuse issues, often compounded by mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, or trauma. You will empower these individuals to articulate their challenges, set achievable goals, and initiate meaningful changes in their lives. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or an equivalent state-recognized credential.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Specialization in addiction counseling, with demonstrated experience in treating substance use disorders.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment methodologies for substance abuse and accompanying mental health disorders.

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experience will be preferred:
