What You Do.

Finance Transformation & Digital Innovation

  • Lead the transformation of financial reporting, analytics, and data management by connecting Finance & Accounting business needs with innovative technology solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, eliminate manual work, and improve efficiency across the Finance organization.
  • Drive the implementation and optimization of financial applications, reporting tools, and data solutions that enhance transparency, accuracy, and decision-making.

Business Process Improvement & Analytics

  • Partner with Finance leaders and business stakeholders to understand strategic priorities and improve the processes that support them.
  • Transform financial data into scalable, repeatable insights that enable timely, action-oriented business decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance existing processes and leverage new technologies to address evolving business requirements.
  • Support the development of forecasting methodologies and assumptions, improving financial visibility and forecast accuracy, including product cost variance analysis.

Data, Systems & Agile Delivery

  • Collaborate with IT to identify, analyze, extract, transform, and deploy data solutions that support Finance objectives.
  • Serve as an active member of Agile teams, helping prioritize initiatives, develop business cases, and implement process improvements that maximize value while minimizing risk and cost.
  • Contribute to system enhancement initiatives by gathering business requirements, developing functional specifications, and evaluating solution options.
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies and software capabilities, identifying opportunities to improve automation, reporting, and financial transparency.

Business Partnership & Change Leadership

  • Act as a key liaison between Finance, IT, consultants, and business partners to define future-state processes and drive transformational change.
  • Help users better understand transaction flows and system capabilities to reduce manual effort and improve reporting accuracy.
  • Maintain ownership of Business Process Procedures (BPPs), ensuring documentation accurately reflects current processes and controls.
  • Promote adoption of new solutions through collaboration, communication, and continuous education.
    Continuous Learning & Best Practices
  • Stay current on leading practices, emerging technologies, and industry trends through training, user groups, forums, seminars, and professional networks.
  • Champion a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across Finance & Accounting.

Your Education and Experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in finance systems, analytics, process improvement, or a related discipline.
  • Experience leading or supporting business process re-engineering initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one large-scale financial system implementation.
  • Experience with integrated ERP systems required; SAP experience strongly preferred.

Technical & Business Expertise
• Strong understanding of financial processes, reporting, and business operations.
• Advanced experience with spreadsheets, databases, and enterprise business systems.
• Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to leverage technology to improve business performance and efficiency.

Leadership & Collaboration
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong project management capabilities with a consistent track record of meeting deadlines and driving results.
• Ability to work effectively across Finance, IT, and business functions to influence change and achieve outcomes.

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
• Strong reasoning and critical-thinking abilities with the capability to solve complex business challenges.
• Ability to analyze data, evaluate alternatives, and develop practical, scalable solutions.
• Comfortable working in environments with evolving priorities and limited standardization.
