• Conduct thorough assessments and intakes for new clients to determine their mental health status and treatment needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans grounded in best practices and evidence-based therapeutic approaches, encouraging client involvement in the process.
• Facilitate regular counseling sessions, employing a range of therapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care to address issues such as depression, anxiety, and substance abuse.
• Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as necessary, providing ongoing support and resources to help clients achieve their therapeutic goals.
• Maintain thorough and accurate records in our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with state regulations and organizational standards.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, referring clients to psychiatrists or other healthcare providers when additional support is needed.
• Engage in regular supervision and consultation sessions to foster professional development and refine clinical skills.

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing significant mental health disorders, substance use disorders, and those seeking support for emotional well-being. By addressing a wide variety of needs, including those facing situational crises and diagnoses like PTSD or major depressive disorder, you will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate their paths to recovery and resilience.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A valid and current license as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.
• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience, demonstrating a deep understanding of mental health disorders and treatment methodologies.
• Proficiency in conducting both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing culturally competent and inclusive approaches.
• Demonstrated ability to handle crisis situations effectively while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

• Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems to document sessions and manage patient information efficiently.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
