What this job involves: As the Specialist, Strategic Sourcing - Construction & Project Management, you will serve as the primary procurement authority supporting a client account or portfolio. Working independently with professional judgment and initiative, you will lead procurement for capital projects, maintenance programs, and facility upgrades from cradle to grave. • Serve as the primary procurement subject matter expert for construction and PDS categories, owning end-to-end sourcing strategy, supplier management, and governance for capital projects and facility upgrades.

  • Independently manage RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes from initiation through contract execution, including bid strategy development, supplier due diligence, evaluation, negotiation, and award recommendation.

  • Standardize and refine scopes of work, bid packages, project specifications, and contract templates to improve accuracy, consistency, and operational efficiency across multiple sites.

  • Negotiate, draft, and execute supplier contracts and service agreements, ensuring clear scopes, SLAs, KPIs, pricing structures, and appropriate risk allocation while partnering with Legal, Risk Management, and Finance for compliance.

  • Provide procurement guidance and market intelligence to operations and project teams, securing early involvement in project planning discussions and representing Sourcing as the category expert.

Required qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of strategic sourcing experience for construction, capital projects, or facilities-related services.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis including financial analysis, bid leveling, and analysis of large and complex datasets.
