As a Remote Licensed Professional Counselor, you will connect with clients through a secure digital platform designed for teletherapy, enabling you to conduct sessions via video chat. • Conduct individual counseling sessions via video chat to address and improve clients' mental health.
• Facilitate discussions that encourage clients to explore their emotions and lived experiences, aiding them in gaining insights into their thoughts, behaviors, and relationships.
• Actively advocate for clients, helping them identify personal goals and formulate action plans to achieve them.
• Utilize your clinical experience to evaluate clients' mental health status and develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based strategies.

In this role, you will work with a client base that has been carefully screened to ensure their stability and suitability for virtual counseling. Clients will primarily consist of stable adults with low acuity issues, providing you with an opportunity to make impactful interventions without the added complexity of severe mental health conditions. • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Current and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC), allowing for independent practice without supervision. Note: We are unable to accept limited or provisional licenses.
• Proven ability to conduct professional assessments, make informed treatment recommendations, and implement effective interventions.
• Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and a compassionate demeanor to foster trusting therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Proficiency with technology is essential as you will be utilizing an online therapy platform for your sessions and client interactions.

• Experience working in a telehealth capacity is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with virtual counseling platforms is a plus.
• Prior experience in a community health setting is advantageous, as understanding community dynamics can improve client engagement and outreach.
