Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate and lead consumer support groups to foster community engagement and shared learning.
  • Conduct individual counseling sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients to discuss their mental health challenges.
  • Participate actively in staff meetings, case conferences, and training sessions to enhance team synergy and improve service delivery.
  • Assist in psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and monitoring the progress of clients through thorough documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all client interactions and comply with the ethical standards set forth by the United States Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association.
  • Implement treatment plans under clinical supervision, adapting approaches based on ongoing assessments and feedback from clients.
  • Collaborate with local agencies and community organizations to facilitate referrals and advocate for clients' social service needs.
  • Continue to develop familiarity with relevant compliance and accreditation standards, including JCAHO and Medicaid regulations, to ensure the highest quality of care.
  • Explore and establish connections with potential referral sources, including inpatient and outpatient facilities, to generate intake referrals.
  • Engage with volunteers and interns in planning and promoting activities that address the unique needs of each consumer.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the clinic's mission and operational efficiency.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is to support individuals facing perinatal mental health challenges, along with various other mental health concerns. We cater to a diverse client population, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our approach integrates psychoeducation as an essential component, empowering clients and families with knowledge and resources to manage their mental health.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field.
  • Valid Social Work License as per state regulations (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW).
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and coordinate effectively with a multidisciplinary team within an outpatient mental health agency.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying information clearly, listening actively, and respecting the perspectives of clients and colleagues.
  • No history of medical malpractice claims, verified by a third-party background check.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working in community health settings or with perinatal mental health issues is highly desirable.
  • Experience with electronic health record systems and thorough documentation practices.
  • Familiarity with community outreach efforts and advocacy.
