OEM Mental Healthcare Pte. Ltd is actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinical Mental Health Therapist to join our dedicated team in San Antonio, Texas. This full-time remote position focuses on delivering exceptional therapeutic support to individuals dealing with mood disorders, enhancing their mental health and quality of life. The ideal candidate will hold licensure as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW, and will work collaboratively within a community health clinic framework.

Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing therapists the autonomy to deliver care in a supportive, structured environment. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evenings and weekends on a rotating basis. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to accurately gauge the severity and impact of mood disorders on clients, using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Collaborate with clients to formulate customized treatment plans that align with their unique needs, aspirations, and preferences, ensuring active patient involvement in their recovery journey.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting interventions to fit individual client profiles.
  • Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment methodologies, and self-care strategies to enhance understanding and promote collaborative treatment efforts.
  • Monitor client progress throughout the treatment process, regularly reassessing and adjusting treatment plans based on observed outcomes and feedback.
  • Establish a communicative partnership with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated care and address comprehensive health needs of clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on the latest research and clinical best practices in the treatment of mood disorders to enrich therapeutic strategies.
  • Ensure precise documentation of client interactions and treatment plans, complying with all legal and ethical obligations related to client confidentiality and records management.
  • Engage actively in case consultations and teamwork to reflect on practice patterns, participate in professional development workshops, and share insights with colleagues.
  • Advocate for clients by promoting awareness and reducing stigma surrounding mood disorders, ensuring they receive the support and resources they need.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves a diverse population of individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety-related disorders, and bipolar disorder. Therapists will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful therapeutic relationships and apply their expertise to aid in the recovery and empowerment of clients navigating these complex challenges.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
  • Two years of post-licensure experience specifically working with mood disorders is preferred.
  • Proficient in evidence-based treatment methodologies, particularly CBT and DBT, with a proven ability to achieve successful therapeutic outcomes.
  • A strong understanding of psychopharmacology to effectively partner with psychiatrists and navigate complex treatment plans.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of building rapport with clients from a variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a community health clinic or outpatient setting focusing on mental health is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering therapeutic interventions and achieving measurable outcomes for clients with mood disorders.
  • Involvement in multidisciplinary teams and familiarity with integrated care models is an asset.
Compensation and Benefits

The offered salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a sign-on bonus to welcome new team members.
