  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based treatment modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, or trauma-focused therapy.
  • Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans that include measurable goals and specific interventions tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure aligned and coordinated care, contributing to holistic treatment plans that reflect best practices in mental health.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions, psychoeducation classes, and support groups that foster community and shared learning among clients.
  • Offer crisis intervention and safety planning as necessary, utilizing strong risk assessment skills to ensure client safety and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring proper record-keeping and effective communication with the treatment team.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Active Minds Behavioral Counseling, you will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and families, each facing unique mental health challenges. Your role will be pivotal in addressing disorders such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and behavioral problems within a school context. You will empower clients to cultivate resilience and develop coping strategies that enable them to thrive in their academic and personal lives.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
  • Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, demonstrating practical application of therapeutic techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of therapeutic modalities and treatment approaches to effectively meet the diverse needs of clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills, capable of building trust and rapport with clients and families.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a school setting or with youth populations, understanding the unique challenges faced by students.
  • Familiarity with telehealth practices and technology, enabling effective remote service delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to support comprehensive client care.

The salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, complemented by a competitive sign-on bonus. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:

  • Health insurance coverage encompassing medical, dental, and vision.
  • Retirement savings plans with employer matching to assist you in achieving long-term financial goals.
  • Generous paid time off, which includes vacation days, personal days, and holidays to promote work-life balance.
  • Continuing education and training programs, ensuring you stay at the forefront of clinical practices and expand your skills.
  • Insurance coverage for liability and professional protection.
