Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and professionally licensed Full-Time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to become an integral part of our team at Providence Counseling P.C. This remote position offers you the chance to provide invaluable mental health support to individuals and families from the comfort of your home, while still being a pivotal part of our community-focused health clinic.

About the Organization

Providence Counseling P.C. is a recognized community health clinic located in Henderson, Nevada. Renowned for our unwavering commitment to comprehensive mental health care, we prioritize the well-being of our patients and their families. Our team of compassionate and skilled therapists is dedicated to guiding clients through their challenges in a safe and supportive environment, fostering growth and recovery.

Work Environment

This is a full-time remote position. While you will primarily work from home, our organization still values teamwork and collaboration. You will interact regularly with a diverse group of professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide holistic care that addresses all aspects of a client's well-being. We understand the importance of flexible scheduling, and as such, some evenings and weekends may be required to effectively meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' mental health challenges, ensuring accurate diagnosis and tailored treatment planning.
  • Develop customized therapy programs that align with each clientโ€™s unique goals and psychological needs.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy in both individual and group sessions, utilizing various modalities as appropriate.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary teamโ€”including case managers and healthcare providersโ€”to ensure a continuum of care that supports every client.
  • Provide education and encouragement to clients and their families during the healing process, facilitating their engagement in treatment to foster overall improvement.
  • Maintain precise, confidential records in accordance with all regulatory and ethical standards, ensuring safety and compliance in your practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client focus encompasses individuals and families facing a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and other emotional challenges. We place a strong emphasis on creating a trusting and empathetic environment that allows clients to share their struggles openly and seek support for their growth and recovery.

Qualifications
  • A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Nevada is required.
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for establishing and nurturing a therapeutic alliance with clients.
  • Empathy, along with a nonjudgmental approach to clients' experiences, is crucial.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills are needed to handle a balanced caseload effectively while attending to necessary administrative duties.
Preferred Experience

While all licensed candidates are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with prior experience working in a community health setting or those who have specialized training in family dynamics, addiction therapy, or trauma-focused therapy. Familiarity with therapy software and electronic health record systems will be considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits
  • We offer a competitive annual salary of USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and certifications.
  • Comprehensive benefits package inclusive of paid time off (PTO), health insurance, and a retirement savings plan to support your financial future.
  • Engaging opportunities for career advancement and continuous education in areas such as addiction therapy and specialized therapeutic techniques.
  • A supportive workplace culture that nurtures professional growth through ongoing mentorship and training.
  • Access to the latest research and resources in mental health treatment that empowers you to enhance your practice and client outcomes.

At Providence Counseling P.C., we believe in investing in our team members. Our organization is committed to fostering an environment where you can expand your professional skills, explore leadership roles, and gain expert knowledge in various areas of mental health therapy. Regular in-house training and workshops are provided to help you stay ahead in the field.
