Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Tufts, you will:

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify the mental health challenges, strengths, and available resources of clients.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions employing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and trauma-focused therapy.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, incorporating client feedback and setting measurable goals for therapy.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated, client-centered care.
• Facilitate crisis intervention strategies, conduct risk assessments, and establish safety plans as necessary to ensure the well-being of clients.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation adhering to both ethical standards and legal requirements, ensuring that all client interactions are properly recorded.
• Lead engaging group therapy sessions, conduct psychoeducational classes, and facilitate support groups that enhance the therapeutic experience for clients.

Qualifications
