As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Renewed Perspectives, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough intake assessments for new clients to identify their mental health needs and treatment goals.
• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Providing one-on-one psychotherapy sessions primarily via telehealth platforms, ensuring a safe and supportive virtual environment.
• Maintaining accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation of sessions, treatment progress, and client interactions.
• Participating in ongoing training and professional development sessions to enhance your clinical skills and stay updated with the latest therapeutic techniques.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop holistic treatment strategies and ensure integrated care for clients.
• Utilizing various assessment tools to gauge treatment efficacy and adjust therapeutic approaches as required.

You will be working with a diverse array of clients, including adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field from a regionally accredited university.
• An active licensure in the state of Texas as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Two years or more of hands-on experience providing clinical psychotherapy to adult clients.
• Proven proficiency in conducting intake assessments, as well as in diagnosis and treatment planning for a variety of mental health conditions.
• Excellent writing ability for clear and concise documentation related to client treatment and progress.
• A clean disciplinary record without any actions taken by a licensing authority.

Candidates with experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based modalities will be given preference. Additionally, familiarity with remote counseling tools and telehealth best practices will enhance your candidacy.
