Sarasota Memorial Medical Center is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) for a fully remote, full-time position. In this role, you will be responsible for providing virtual therapy and counseling services to clients, with a requirement to manage a minimum caseload of 25 clients. • Provide high-quality virtual therapy to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy.
• Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) for all client interactions, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and legal standards.
• Participate in regular supervision and peer consultation to enhance therapeutic practices and address complex client cases.
• Collaborate with administrative staff to streamline onboarding new clients, including insurance verification, credentialing, and billing processes.
• Engage in marketing initiatives to attract new clients while supporting existing clients in their therapeutic journeys.
• Adhere to best practices for ethical treatment and support clients from diverse backgrounds.

Our client population primarily consists of adults aged 18 and older, including individuals from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. We particularly encourage candidates with experience in working with the LGBTQIA+ community and men's mental health, as our aim is to provide inclusive and accessible care to all segments of the population.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Active LICSW license to practice in Massachusetts.
• A minimum of 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience, specifically in providing psychotherapy services.
• Evidence of prior experience working with diverse and minority populations.

• Familiarity with CBT and/or Psychodynamic Therapy methodologies.
• Experience or keen interest in serving the LGBTQIA+ community.
• Experience in addressing men's mental health issues.
• Professional malpractice insurance is required for practice.
