Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with a diverse student body from varied socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. The mental health challenges faced by students may range from anxiety and depression to trauma-related issues and other behavioral concerns. Your expertise will be invaluable in creating an environment that acknowledges and supports the individuality of each student while promoting their mental wellness and academic performance.

Qualifications

  • A valid LICSW license in the state of Vermont is mandatory.
  • At least two years of post-licensure experience is needed, preferably in mental health settings such as educational institutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and trauma-informed care practices.
  • Experience in conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, and delivering individual and group therapy sessions.

  • Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and comfortable with technology in a remote working environment.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to function effectively as part of a team-oriented multidisciplinary group.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working within school-based mental health settings or familiarity with educational systems is preferred but not mandatory.
