Job description

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) โ€“ Med-Surg Orthopedics
Location: Tallahassee, FL

Shifts:

  • Days: 7:00 AM โ€“ 7:00 PM (Rotating Weekends)
  • Nights: 7:00 PM โ€“ 7:00 AM (Rotating Weekends)

Note: Candidates will be required to complete a shadow interview as part of the hiring process.


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary Range:
    • $30.89/hr (1 year experience)
    • $35.02/hr (5 years experience)
    • $39.21/hr (10 years experience)
    • $43.25/hr (15 years experience)
  • Sign-On Bonus:
    • $15,000 (Days)
    • $20,000 (Nights)
  • Shift Differentials:
    • $3/hr (Nights)
    • $2/hr (Weekends)
  • Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
  • Advocate for patient safety and well-being
  • Educate patients and families on treatments and medications
  • Manage time, supplies, and equipment efficiently


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year recent acute care Med-Surg experience (required)
  • Active Florida RN license or compact license (FL license required within 60 days of relocation)
  • BLS certification (required)
  • ACLS certification (preferred; required within 6 months)
  • BSN (preferred)
