Job Highlights
  • Ensures integrity and confidentiality of all patient financial data.
  • Performs collection activities for patient carriers.
  • Establishes and maintains a system of financial record keeping to include issuing receipts, preparing and making bank deposits, and recording payments using proper segregation of duties.
  • Interacts with payors to define billing requirements and ensures prompt payment of claims.
  • Manages census activities including daily, weekly, and monthly balancing with the nursing and admissions departments.
  • Produces reports for analysis purposes as needed.
  • Assists with new hire orientation by preparing onboarding materials, coordinating required documentation, and ensuring a positive onboarding experience.
  • Creates and maintains employee identification badges for all new hires, replacements, and departmental updates.
  • Enters, reviews, and submits agency personnel hours accurately and timely in accordance with payroll deadlines and facility procedures.
  • This position will report directly to HR

Posted Salary Range

Wage Commensuration
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Answer and direct incoming calls
  • Welcome on-site visitors, assist them appropriately, COVID 19 screening and always provide excellent customer service to both the visitors and fellow staff members.
  • Assist BOM with all aspects of clerical, data entry, and billing duties.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Must have a minimum High School diploma or equivalent G.E.D
  • Must have 1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a healthcare environment
  • Must have excellent phone etiquette, communication skills, and customer service skills
  • Must have working knowledge of computers, internet access, and the ability to navigate within Microsoft Office Suite, or similar programs
  • Reliable transportation required
