Job description

POSITION: Receptionist

DEPARTMENT: Human Resources

REPORTS TO: Human Resources Manager

FLSA STATUS: Hourly/Non-Exempt

Summary

Legends Global has an excellent and immediate opening for a Receptionist for Legends Global/Caesars Superdome | Smoothie King Center | Champions Square.

This position is assigned to the executive reception areas in Gate F. The primary responsibility is answering and directing calls from the main phone system, assisting visitors with queries and concerns, providing information and directing them to the correct internal or external entities. Maintain office forms, clerical responsibilities, and stock supplies as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate telephone switchboard to answer, screen, and forward telephone calls
  • Answer routine telephone inquiries, event-specific or general inquiries
  • Greets and welcomes guests and directs them to specific locations
  • Handles faxes and deliveries
  • Provides typing and clerical support as needed
  • Contact staff to maintain clean, fully stocked meeting rooms
  • Prevent security issues by ensuring every guest that enters the building has proper credentials
  • Restock promotional items in the main lobby, as needed
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Minimum of 1-year prior receptionist experience required
