Weekend Realtor information

What is a weekend realtor?

Weekend Realtors are real estate agents who primarily work on weekends to assist clients with buying, selling, or renting properties. They often cater to clients who are only available outside of standard weekday business hours, making their services particularly valuable for busy families and working professionals. Weekend Realtors handle activities such as hosting open houses, showing properties, negotiating deals, and providing guidance on the real estate process. Their flexible scheduling allows them to meet the needs of clients who require assistance outside of regular hours.

What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as a weekend realtor?

To thrive as a Weekend Realtor, you need a comprehensive understanding of real estate principles, local market knowledge, and a valid real estate license. Familiarity with MLS platforms, customer relationship management (CRM) software, and digital marketing tools is common in this role. Exceptional interpersonal skills, time management, and resilience help you build client relationships and manage a flexible, weekend-focused schedule. These skills and qualities are critical for successfully closing deals and providing excellent client service in a competitive market.

What are common challenges weekend realtors face, and how can they manage their time to succeed?

Weekend Realtors often balance this role with other weekday commitments, making time management crucial. One common challenge is ensuring prompt client communication and availability for showings, which tend to be concentrated on weekends. To succeed, it's important to maintain an organized schedule, leverage digital tools for communication, and coordinate closely with full-time agents or team members for seamless client service throughout the week. Proactive planning and setting clear expectations with clients about response times can help Weekend Realtors thrive in this dynamic environment.

What is the difference between Weekend Realtor vs Part-Time Real Estate Agent?

AspectWeekend RealtorPart-Time Real Estate Agent
CredentialsReal estate license requiredReal estate license required
Work EnvironmentPrimarily works on weekends, flexible scheduleWorks part-time, flexible hours including weekends
Industry UsageCommon in real estate sales, client meetingsCommon in real estate sales, client meetings
Search & ComparisonOften searched for weekend-specific rolesBroader term, includes weekend work

Weekend Realtors and Part-Time Real Estate Agents both require a real estate license and operate with flexible schedules. The key difference is that Weekend Realtors specifically focus on working primarily on weekends, while Part-Time Agents may work during evenings or weekdays as well. Both roles are suitable for those seeking flexible schedules in real estate sales.

Are weekend realtors available on weekends?

Weekend realtors are available to work on weekends, as real estate transactions often require flexible scheduling to accommodate clients' availability. Many realtors choose to work weekends to show properties, attend open houses, and meet with clients outside traditional weekday hours.

Can you work as a weekend realtor on weekends only?

Weekend realtors typically have flexible schedules that can include working only on weekends, especially if they focus on clients who are available during those times. However, real estate agents often need to be available during weekdays for meetings, showings, and administrative tasks, so working exclusively on weekends may limit their ability to handle all aspects of the job effectively.

Real Estate Sales Agent - Production Partner

Edmond, OK • On-site

$107K/yr

Full-time

Posted 15 days ago

Job description

I'm looking for my Production Partner — my right hand on the sales side of Heart & Home Realty Co.

This is not a buyer's agent role. This is not a showing assistant. This is not a transaction coordinator.

The pipeline is already full. The brand already brings the business in — most of the clients know us before we ever pick up the phone. We don't cold call. We educate, we advise, we negotiate, and we close.

Here's my honest problem: the leads are there. I'm the bottleneck.

There are only so many closings one person can personally carry from first phone call to closing table, and I've found my ceiling. I'm not looking for someone to help me maintain what I'm doing. I'm looking for someone to help me break through it.

I generate the business, lead the consultations, and handle the negotiations. You own everything between the first response and the closing table: lead follow-up, appointments, showings, CMAs, contracts, inspection and appraisal coordination, deadlines, and a CRM that's always current.

I generate it. You make sure none of it slips.

We built this business on service with heart, exceptional care, and relationships that outlast the closing. That standard isn't negotiable — it's the entire reason the pipeline stays full.

Let me be direct about one thing: this seat is not a stepping stone. I'm not looking for someone passing through on the way to building their own book. I'm looking for someone who wants to become exceptional at production alongside a high-producing agent, inside a proven model with high standards — and be paid well for it.

Skills can be taught. Urgency, character, and follow-through cannot.

Compensation: This is a commission-only role. Your compensation is tied directly to the transactions you help move from opportunity to closing — and you step into a pipeline that's already full, with no lead costs, no marketing spend, and no prospecting. We'll talk specifics in the interview.

Requirements: An active Oklahoma real estate license, willingness to join Heart & Home Realty Co. through eXp Realty, real knowledge of residential contracts, and genuine weekend and evening availability. Real estate doesn't happen Monday through Friday, 9 to 5.

If this sounds like you, send your resume and a specific answer to one question:

Why do you want to be a Production Partner to a high-producing agent instead of building a traditional solo business?

Applications without an answer won't be reviewed. I'll only be interviewing a small number of people.

Compensation:

$80,000 - $107,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

The person I'm looking for...

  • Answers the phone.

  • Closes every loop — if you said you'd send it, it's sent. Reads every contract. Twice.

  • Knows the deadline is coming before I do.

  • Moves fast without getting sloppy.

  • Doesn't need to be managed.

  • Communicates early, clearly, and completely.

  • Cares more about the client than the credit.

  • Gets more organized as the volume goes up.

  • Doesn't need their name on the sign.

Qualifications:
  • Oklahoma Real Estate License

About Company

Heart & Home Realty Co. serves the Edmond and Oklahoma City metro through eXp Realty.

Most real estate businesses run on cold calling. Ours runs on reputation. Clients usually know us before we ever pick up the phone, through referrals and ten years of doing right by people in this market. That means you spend your time serving clients and closing business, not chasing strangers.

Four values run everything we do: Service with Heart. Exceptional Care. Guidance and Expertise. Community & Relationship. They are not wall art. They are the standard.

Our Lead Agent has ten years in this market, serves as President of the Edmond Board of Realtors, and cooks monthly for families at Ronald McDonald House. Expect high standards, real mentorship, and someone who will push you to become exceptional.

If you care more about the outcome than the credit, and you get more organized as the volume goes up, we would like to meet you.
