Job description

We are looking for a residential split-fee appraiser for assignments in the Chicagoland area. A license is required. ACI software with all maps is provided. You’ll inspect sites, analyze market data, and deliver compliant reports for lenders, clients, or government agencies. If you’re detail-driven, independent, and knowledgeable about real estate, we’d love to have you on our team.

Experienced appraisers are encouraged to apply. We will train if you have a current appraiser license.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site inspections to assess property condition and features
  • Research comparable sales, market trends, and neighborhood data
  • Prepare detailed appraisal reports following USPAP standards
  • Estimate market value using cost, income, or sales comparison approaches
  • Maintain accurate records and meet strict deadlines
  • Stay current with local regulations, zoning, and appraisal methods

Qualifications:

  • An appraiser license (State of IL) is required
  • Knowledge of USPAP and appraisal software (e.g., WinTotal, ACI)
