$41.12 - $61.68 an hour - Full-Time Days, 40 hours per week
+$2.50/hr for  weekend shifts
Boulder Community Health is seeking an Echocardiographer who obtains high-quality cross-sectional, two-dimensional ultrasound images of the heart and related structures, as well as recording M-mode and Doppler blood flow for the physician who interprets these diagnostic studies. Ensures adequate functioning of all equipment used in obtaining echocardiograms.

Qualifications 
•Graduate of an Echocardiography Training program preferred.
•BLS required within 90 days
•ARDMS, RDCS, RCS, or ACS registered or registry eligible required.
•Registry eligible must pass registry within one year of employment or transfer into the position
•Minimum of 2 years experience performing Echocardiograms strongly preferred
Responsibilities
•Explains purpose of test and procedure to the patient.
•Obtains necessary clinical history of present illness, reason for referral, and auscultation when appropriate.
•Enters record keeping data on the patients Electronic Medical Record.
•Performs test in accordance with developed policies and procedures and appropriate standards of care.
•Obtains high quality cardiac ultrasound images including M-mode, two dimensional, pulse wave, continuous wave, and color doppler modalities.
•Measures all parameters obtained from the study on the digital echo system.
•Maintains records in a retrievable manner.
•Prepares cases for the Doctors reading session.
•Maintains service maintenance log on all Echo equipment with an updated file of company representatives and repair services.
•Ensures adequate supplies and evaluate new equipment as required.
