Recognized as one of the top residential and outpatient chemical dependency treatment centers in the region, ShareHouse, Inc. is growing and seeking a full-time, overnight shift (11pm-7am), Monday-Friday, Behavioral Health Technician at our Grand Forks campus. T
JOB SUMMARY
This position assists in maintaining a successful residential facility by encouraging and supporting residents in their recovery through monitoring, observing, and reporting to clinical staff and management; ensures that all rules and procedures are adhered to as set forth by the organization and acts as liaison between residents and clinical staff.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
The Behavioral Health Tech does not supervise any positions.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Greet, welcome and assist clients/residents, vendors and guests, to provide welcoming and professional image of organization.
  • Monitor, dispense and re-order client medications to ensure receipt of correct dosage, timely receipt and availability.
  • Conduct room-to-room apartment checks, along with facility checks as required or scheduled, and complete appropriate documentation to ensure safety and security of residents, staff and facility.
  • Document information, observations, concerns, issues and events in appropriate venue to provide accurate information to staff and management.
  • Perform light maintenance and housekeeping duties assigned to provide clean and safe environment.
  • Perform breathalyzer and unobserved urine drug screens on clients as required and maintain appropriate documentation to ensure drug- and alcohol-free living environment.
  • Monitor and track clients' exits and entries into facility to always ensure knowledge of client location and activities and that all areas are monitored appropriately.
  • Monitor medication to residents according to established protocol to ensure exact dosage.
  • Transport clients to appointments/meetings to attend community recovery groups.
  • Answer phones, greet public, and route inquiries to appropriate personnel while providing positive public relations and accurate responses to questions.
  • Understand and abide by all confidentiality laws to protect clients and client information.
  • Provide and maintain reliable and prompt attendance, with the ability to work the schedule dictated by business necessity to include afternoon and overnight shifts, call-ins, weekends and holidays.
  • Conduct fire drills as instructed across all shifts to ensure a smooth and efficient procedure, and also ensure timely and safe evacuation of all residents, as well as fill out drill forms and submit them to the Safety Officer or HR.
  • Search client property at admission and throughout their stay in services
  • Review facility cameras for safety
  • Clean and disinfect client rooms as they discharge
PERIODIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Refer maintenance and repair issues to maintenance department.
  • Cover the front office assistant's phone as needed.
  • Assist in client orientation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Requires High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prefer 6 months experience in related field or position.
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATES
  • Required to be CPR, First Aid Certified and CMA 1 certified within 60 days of employment and stay up to date at renewal periods.
  • Must be able to be medication certified according to ShareHouse and North Dakota Board of Health standards.
  • May be required to have valid driver's license and have clean driving record according to company insurance standards.

COMPENSATION
$18.20-$22.75 (DOE)
*Compensation for this position is based on several factors, including relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.
