Their responsibilities include instructing staff on safe and efficient aircraft handling, baggage loading, de-icing, and other ground operations. They ensure that all ramp activities are performed in compliance with airline and airport safety regulations, often serving as mentors and supervisors for newer employees. Weekend Ramp Trainers play a crucial role in maintaining safety standards and operational efficiency during peak travel periods, which often occur on weekends.
