Position Summary:
The successful Ticket Booth Agent - Georgetown will set the stage for the perfect guest experience upon boarding our amazing cruises. You provide exceptional guest service by ensuring the best accommodation for parking services and pier guided services of guests and groups from bus drop-off locations, to and from boarding dock.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • This role is an outdoor role that will require the GEORGETOWN TICKET AGENT to serve as a guest service liaison to sell tickets for our water taxi and sightseeing cruises and manage traffic flow of guests at docking area.
  • Serving as ticket agent to sell cruise tickets to our water taxi locations and sightseeing cruises.
  • Greeting and assisting guests as they arrive/ depart the cruise vessel.
  • Managing the boarding area
  • Resolve guest problems within the scope of authority, otherwise refer to the supervisor/manager on duty
  • Communicate to guest professionally when problems arise.
  • Direct/guide guests to boarding dock

Other Duties and Responsibilities
  • Additional job duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year customer service experience.
  • Ability and willingness to work in an outdoor environmental element as a ticket agent - heat wind, snow, rain
  • Must be flexible to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Requires standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening. Must be able to stand, sit or walk for an extended period/ entire work shift.
  • Possess strong communication skills and guest service while maintaining professional demeanor.
  • A positive, upbeat personality that sets the tone and example for the entire team.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • A passion for providing outstanding customer service, and a commitment to demonstrating and teaching guest service skills to others.
  • Able to maintain a patient, calm and pleasant demeanor in hectic, challenging circumstances.
